Our Engineering team are rewriting the rulebook on OS design to create HadeanOS. It is distributed-first, robust to scaling, efficient, compact and fast. On this foundation we are building Aether Engine, a simulation framework capable of tackling the vast complexity of tomorrow’s gaming, life science and physical simulation challenges.

As our new QA Engineer you will be key to our growth by:

  • You will be responsible for designing and implementing test code and infrastructure along with liaising with the rest of the team to use common practices and improving the overall adoption of automated testing.

  • Selecting and prioritising applications and functionalities for test automation.

  • Working as part of a team developing, executing and maintaining Test Frameworks using functional and nonfunctional test tools aiming to ensure quality and increase efficiency of delivery and as an integral part of the SDLC and release process.


What we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle.

  • Experience with any continuous integration tools (e.g.  Jenkins, Buildbot, TeamCity, Bamboo, TravisCI ... )

  • You have experience QAing projects created with ‘systems’ languages like C, C++, Rust or Assembly.

  • Experience in capturing human thoughts in a form that can be enforced as part of the CI, with tools such as Cucumber or similar.

  • You’re comfortable writing complex tools and scripts in the most appropriate combination of languages for the job.

Nice but not necessary:

  • Have assisted, enhanced & built automation frameworks from scratch

  • Experience in writing scripts for test automation

  • You have hands-on experience establishing a quality focused organization/process

Salary: £40,000 to £140,000
